چکیده
The findings are reported of a small survey of the attitudes of mothers using local authority infant and child health and welfare services in three widely contrasted areas of England and Wales. The results are compared and contrasted with those of the National Child Health Survey and the Newcastle-on-Tyne 1,000 Family Study. Special reference is made to the fact that over 60% consultations are made with the health visitor-a circumstance the mothers seem readily to accept; and to the fact that her services are most popular with mothers of all ages who have a young first-born infant.
